The Bionic Cocktail


  • Couple fingers of rye whiskey
  • 1/2 oz. Punt e Mes
  • Dash of orange bitters
  • Dash of Angostura bitters


Combine ingredients over ice. Stir. Drink.

With our final (at least for awhile) show rapidly approaching, Nick and Geej have reunited with their erstwhile third chair Robert Baker for an extra fat episode wherein they BLOW OUT all of the topics they’ve been sitting on for the past four years! Fair warning: it’s just shy of 2 1/2 hours long, and the topics are flying fast and furious. Tuck in, people; Nick gets completely wasted, GJ does his best to hang on to his own sanity, and Robert soothes us all with his dulcet tones. Enjoy!

First up, as always, is GJ’s Random Thought™. This time, he wants to talk about public pianos. It’s an interesting thought, sure, but far more interesting is just how it bleeds into this:

Whatcha Drinkin’?! is up next. It only took him four years, but GJ finally came through with The Bionic Cocktail. It’s a variation on the classic Manhattan that features rye, Punt e Mes, and two varieties of bitters. It’s familiar yet exotic; simple to make with an intriguing yet not-overly-complex flavor. Well done, Geej!

Then it’s on to the Meat. As I said, this is a crazy one, people.
